It’s that time of year. End-of-year board meetings and shareholder meetings. I had a couple with one of them being the nursery. I skipped last year because they were a little hot I left. Time heals and I’m still an owner although they cut me off pretty hard. Exits from companies are difficult. It gets personal in that people don’t like to be rejected. When an employee leaves it hurts, when a partner leaves it hurts more. You feel like they don’t want to work with you and take it personally. The family has been kind to me and professional so I have no complaints. They took me off the owner’s page of the website and acted like I died but in person and financially they have been more than fair. Big changes are hard on everyone but the hope in the end is that everyone is better. The nursery is doing great under my brother’s leadership and I got to see what Saturday looks like from another viewpoint than from the nursery.
The other board meetings were a little tougher in that they are smaller businesses and organizations and the leadership just isn’t super strong. I’m on as an advisor or an investor and things are fine but I know if I stepped in full time I could make it much more profitable or cut costs.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details. All names were chosen by us, Shane, Travis, and/or Josh . Everything we say is based on our research or is opinion. Do your due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, registrars, and individuals that are auctioning names. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
