Looks like Dynadot and Squadhelp are coming for Godaddy. There have been millions of dollars behind the scenes being put into improvements and tech at both places. A very conscious effort to grow. Squadhelp has so many names it needed to put the tech into curation of the inventory and AI is going to help immensely with that. Dynadot is making a conscious effort to offer deals on transfers and new Gs as they did over the holidays. They also are improving their Aftermarket by purchasing Park.io and building more infrastructure for the future. I’ve been keeping an eye on Godaddy as well and noticed they have added a few people to an AI department as well. I was scraping the LinkedIn profiles to check out their departments to find out what they are doing.
I know SH and Dyna don’t want to be bought out by Godaddy and I know none of us want that to happen as well. We just want Godaddy to improve itself and clean up the interface. That will be good enough. It’s nice to see that some real competitors are coming into the fray that are offering alternatives. Customers need alternatives
