So I am still staking crypto and some of it is at 212% interest. I have no idea how long it will last but its still there. The problem has been the underlying coin has dropped so I have still lost some money but much less than if I was just invested in the coin. With the coins coming back yesterday I actually am moving into the positive category. Just doing the math with a compound calculator if this were all to last my $300 investment would be 34 million in 10 years. I have no expectations that it will really happen but I harvest yield every few days and it’s real money. I’m going to ride the pony as long it it moves along.
There’s real money to be made in defi. Yes its the wild west right but some real things are going to come of it. I am looking for the things that have utility or community Someone said it was ironic that I loved apes but shitting on emoji domains. It’s because I don’t see the utility, the fact that its code gets visually interpreted differently by different systems, and I don’t see a strong community. I was right. It’s on round two but I don’t see this round ending any differently.
And the most important of many of my defi projects. I have been in early and made my investment back and taken it out. So learning and watching the future is cost free and all fun
