Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, July 5th, 2024

Welcome to July 5th, one of the least productive days of the year. It’s stuck between a holiday and a weekend, so half of America tries to take the day off for a long weekend, while the other half is working but not too thrilled about it.

Still, it’s a great day to get things done—fewer calls and interruptions. When it comes to domains and blockchain, the global economy never sleeps. You might have a 6 AM meeting with Europe and a 6 PM call with the West Coast. Throw in Dubai, Hong Kong, and China, and you might find yourself in a 2 AM meeting. Usually, the rest of the world adjusts to US hours since we’re such a big player in the global market, or sometimes we meet halfway. They’re pretty used to it by now. Me, I’m slowly getting used to it but to be honest, I still prefer to try in be in bed by 10pm and up by 5. It’s my comfort zone

On the domain front. After the first six months I have a 4.5% sell thru rate at Atom on over 200 names. I will say I would not be on Atom without the ability to move up the prices. Which I believe is possible once you have over 100 names. I am very happy with the results and it does make my life very easy to park and forget. Also, I will say I have sold 2 names at Afternic that were listed at Atom. They paid 15% and 20% more than they would have at Atom yet they still purchased it there. So it is NOT an either or thing. You can list at both. Just needs to be higher at Afternic. I will also say my names at Atom are the perfect names to sell there. Brandable and short. Much or the lack of success people are having is thinking a Atom is going to turn a meh name into a good name.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details. All names were chosen by us, Shane, Travis, and/or Josh . Everything we say is based on our research or is opinion. Do your due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, registrars, and individuals that are auctioning names. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
