I’ve been having fun with the Beehouse.com brand over the last year. Learning how the production of products works. Sourcing packaging, creating nice packaging, and improving the quality of the product. I am not making any money but the honey is damn good and the product is nice. And I’ve learned so much. My newest introduction is clothing and coffee. I have been working with sourcing Organic materials made from eco-friendly places. The plant is solar-powered and chemical-free….supposedly. If I am going to be promoting bee-friendly then I need to make sure what we sell is bee friendly. I know it’s cliche and trendy but I’ve been in the green industry for 30 years and have been eco before eco was cool.
The coffee is sourced from Venezuela and I got to choose from hundreds of blends and went with a particular carmel roast. It was the most expensive blend but loved the flavor. Its shipped to Miami and ground there if ordered from Bored Coffee and I have a roastery that grinds it here if you order from Beehouse.com. My friend Rachel is a partner in the company and she does all the graphic design. Does such great work. I’m running a special. If you buy a shirt, I’ll throw a coffee in for free. I make no money on the deal but again this is about getting it out to people and seeing how they like it
