One of the reasons we have never done well on Google is we have never written to be found on Google. I always figured one, this list has no shelf life so it doesn’t need to be on Google. Two, even if it did, as long as I kept writing, Google would find me. I won’t lie. I hate that Domain Gang takes every headline that comes out and hashtags it and keywords the shit of the article. If you pay attention you can take a trending topic each day and there will be some article that tries to relate it to domain names. I’m too smart for that and if I’m going to spend my time reading I want it to be for readers, not Google. This is 2022, nobody cares about traffic. They care about engagement.
Companies want to support communities that are regulars and consistent. Sure they want new eyeballs and reach but but they also want real. The games of visitors are generally over. Because in and out doesn’t pay the bills. A passionate group of 500 visitors is much more valuable than 10,000 that were tricked into being there. The amount of people that read this every day is small. But you all are some of the best domain investors in the world. I don’t shill anything on here but my stuff and the things I like. And I feel comfortable all of those have been some pretty good shouts. Not all, but most. But don’t confuse what I talk about with what I recommend. Half the stuff I do and buy I would never recommend. I’d be crazy to tell you to buy 250 Ford Leaps out of the money for $50K. Of course you’d be crushing it but I still wouldn’t tell you to do it. But whatever I talk about is going to be more interesting than #Ukraine #Russia and what domains they are buying during war time

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
“ A passionate group of 500 visitors is much more valuable than 10,000 that were tricked into being there.” Amen to that. You’re one of the few that does it for the love of the game, and it shows.
