I went to Nashville for the weekend to go to a friends wedding. I haven’t gotten to do too much in spring besides work for the last 30 years. I have snuck away to run a Boston Marathon here and there but otherwise I have not seen spring anywhere else in the country. This year I have been all over. So when my business partner Rachel invited me to her wedding I said yes.
Nashville is THE place. Construction everywhere. Prices through the roof. Even all the way out in Lebanon its happening. Vulcan the stone supplier for the foundations is huge and I know why. Never seen so much building. I could easily live here but I’ve now said that about 5 cities I’ve visited so far this spring. Everyone is beautiful in the spring.
I look forward to many more days of traveling with family. Some times its my daughter. Sometimes my Mom. Sometimes my dog. This weekend it was wife, dog, and Mom and rented a place outside a large National Park. Some good running and hiking and of course the dog loves it. Next up NC or whatever pops up.
