You hear this quite a bit but one of the things that having a Bored Ape has gotten me besides wealth is connections. I have met so many people that I would have never met otherwise. Yesterday I chatted with one of the founders of Black Rifle Coffee. Talked a little business, a little fun. But it was a conversation with someone that has built a huge business and has incredible skills and connections. No way we connect if we didn’t have Bored Apes. This has been the case with dozens of other people. People at high levels at Google. People from Humbl. Incredible 3D modelers and artists. A whole group of people that I never would have been able to meet.
It’s easy to look in hindsight but I guarantee almost anyone would have paid $2K just for the connections I’ve made. Probably 10K. 2K being what I paid for my piece. There are a lot of ways to open doors but in a million years I never would have thought that buying a monkey pic would open so many. Buying and selling domains has been a microversion of this in that people that buy and sell usually have a day job which has led me to meeting some amazing people. Not the diversity of NFTs but still life-changing and friends that are now lifetime friends. I know a lot of you are saying. “I’m not here to make friends, I am here to make money” You’ll find out that good friends make you better and better makes you more money. Meeting people that are willing to share info makes you make better decisions. They want you to be successful. Monkeys have made me more successful

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
