The great part about the Internet is there is an endless amount of things to be interested in. The hardest part is focus. Every day something new and exciting comes about. As domain investors we’re on top of new things as much as anyone in the world. Because we are trying to get ahead of the advances by buying the domain names that represent it. What I find ironic is that people spend all the time and money hunting down the domain names but do very little to invest in the technology itself when they find it. Domain name investors should be crushing it in so many places other than domain investing.
If everyone that was hawking bitcoin names back in the day would just have saved a couple of those coins they would be rich. A lot more than they ever got for the domains. Most never kept the BTC if they got paid in it. I wasn’t a believer in it and by the time it was the easy money was over.
Right now I’m in to NFT art. I haven’t quite out figured an angle out yet. It’s really geared towards artists monetizing their talent. The buying is being swallowed up by people that have tons of ETH and Bitcoin to spend. But there are some artists that I feel will be good long term investments. I think there is a market to MAKING an artist popular . I have ideas about that but will keep them to myself until I get the business model down.
I also love Shopify. They’ve changed the game into building small little businesses where you can sell anything. I see items and I feel like I could set up a store just selling that. You can make a store, take payments, manage everything for $400 to $700 a year.
So while I love domains. I love building businesses, business ideas that are built on domains. Its why people want the domains. There is a lot more money to be made in the business than the domains. If someone is willing to pay $850K for a domain imagine how much money THEY must be making

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
👏 Well said…..
