I know it seems like I am all over the place but the beauty of domain investing is that it only takes an hour or two a day to do. Answering emails and offers, scanning drop lists. Hunting down good private names. It just doesn’t take that long. Sure you can up the amount of work you want to do, but I find that there is a lot of wasted time in a “pro” domain investors day.
I “invest” in so many things. I find them exciting and I love to learn about new ways to make money. Defi is my newest love. Crypto is great but the backbone of how it works and how you can use the platforms to make money, intrigues me. I am absolutely loving how you can be the bank in defi. Providing the liquidity to enable transactions to move faster and easier. It doesn’t require huge technological knowledge to enter. Once someone shows you, you’ll easily get hooked. In today’s financial world the bank takes your money from your savings and checking and loans it out. Keeping all the interest and money. In defi you get a cut. Its how it should be. With it comes risk. Because of that risk the percentage is much much higher than any other form of finance.
And what do I do with that money. I reinvest some, reallocate other to more traditional assets, and other I put into even more risky opportunities that I think might have legs. But I do sell. I do reallocate. Because I’m not Michael Saylor who gives the worst financial advice and says put all your eggs in one basket. Even mortgaging your house against it. Never. Trading 101 is let the winners run and cut the losers short but the end result of every trade is a sale. It may be in 40 years but it always ends in a sale.
None of this is financial advice either. My money that I am doing all this crazy stuff is earned on the side. My real income has and will never be touched. One, because its the secure part of my future. Two, because I’ve done so well I don’t need to touch it. I can just use the side income to put into other projects. In the past I moved too quickly. Now I wait much much longer. Because I am hardy ever wrong. As a matter of fact .ws has been my only substantial loser. I got in to it because of a lead from someone who also led me into Bitclout which I consider my only other loser. He will remain a good friend but definitely not going to invest in his “take a look at this” things. :).

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
