This is my favorite time of year with March Madness and one of the few times of year I watch golf. Being a U of Illinois area resident for 30 years I’ve added them to Alabama as my two teams. My wife went to Purdue. So we have 3 of the top teams in the tournament which always makes it more fun.
I also used to go to a lot of golf tournaments when I was younger. I can remember 34 years ago sitting at the island green at the TPC at Sawgrass and watching all day. My favorite memory was yelling to Greg Norman “Pump it UP” because he was wearing his Reeboks with the pump in the tongue. Something that never really caught on. But he gave threw me the ball as he walked the bridge off the green. I’ve watched it every year since. The Masters to me always meant spring was here and the nursery was about to get busy.
Going to be a great couple of weeks in sports with the summer Olympics right around the corner
