So now we’re back where we started. We’ll recap the saga. Shane sells his Link and Bitcoin for $100K and puts it into Ford Jan 20 2022 leaps. In the first 2 months of the trade Ford goes UP and then drops hard. Leaving that $100K at $50K . Meanwhile crypto goes crazy and had his total in crypto if left at $250K plus. At that point in time a terrible move. Move to last Thursday.
Ford announced the F-150 Lightning Truck. Biden visits, the truck is a fantastic and they say they are going to sell millions. Stock soars and the Leaps double getting back to over $100K. Crypto does the opposite. It blows up and drops like a rock. Leaving the total if I left it in not much over $100K. We’re back at the exact same place we started. But I feel way more confident in Ford stock than I do crypto. The leverage of my leaps gives me a great chance to 3 to 5X my money if things go like I plan.
Crypto will be fine just not sure where the next infusion will come from. The stimulus money and HUGE payments for not working in the US was a big catalyst. Chinese money might still be there but getting a double from here in BTC is going to take a lot more work than getting Ford stock to move 3 points. And that’s what it takes to double my options.
On a side note, I have had a blast with my Apes from the Bored Ape Yacht Club. A new project called Arabian Camels. Same concept as Apes but with Camels. The creators gave a free camel to ape holders and a pre-buy. I got the free camel plus ten for .48 ETH. I got an offer for .3 for one of mine the first day. What made it great is Ether’s crash made the purchase price cheap because I bought the ETH . I have no idea if I will make money on the things but I’ve had a great time collecting them. That’s what art is all about. You buy it because you like it. If it becomes valuable then you now have art that is valuable. If you don’t buy it with the thoughts its probably going to be yours forever then you probably shouldn’t buy it
