Pretty rough day for Godaddy names today. Not a lot of gems out there compared to a normal day. I do think people are losing confidence in the short names due to all the fraudulent bidding and reduced prices as a result. Namebio has done a good job showing how it’s still going on after a year of everyone pointing out the bad bids. They have an issue they need to fix but don’t seem to be able to fix it.
They also have a HUGE problem on DAN with people listing names they don’t even own. This is not hard to fix. You have to prove you own the name and there are easy ways to do that. Yet, they don’t seem to be in place. The positive is you can buy one-word, great-quality domains for $1500, the negative is they aren’t really for sale. You just get refunded and waste your time. Yet you have to buy them because you never know. Names do get put up for sale at a bargain every once in a while. Although its pretty obvious that $1500 for a million-dollar domain is too good to be true.

If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct.
