Of all the cities I’ve visited, Lisbon is definitely one of my favorites. The culture and vibe are super relaxed, and it’s a great place to visit for amazing food at good prices. I can see why so many people from the States move here, although I’m sure the tax benefits play a big part.
As a runner, it can be a bit challenging. If you live in the city, there aren’t a lot of good running spots, and the cobbled streets can be tough on your ankles, especially early in the morning. But once you make it down to the waterfront, you can run as far as you want. I joined the local Adidas running group for a run with nearly 50 people—there’s no better way to get a local’s perspective than running with them.
I also caught up with my longtime friend, Drew Rosener, who’s lived here for years. It’s amazing to see how much he’s accomplished—he has a beautiful family and home in Lisbon. He’s worked incredibly hard and deserves everything he’s achieved. He’s the hardest working domain person I know and has rightfully earned his title as the best domain broker in the world.
I’ve traveled so much this year and am really looking forward to staying home for the rest of it. I’m excited to spend time with family, get some things done around the house, sell some domains, and keep building new projects.
On a domain note. I got beat out on ArborTech.com at Namejet. I really wanted that name but never thought it would go to $4K. I guess more people than me love trees
