I am not saying go out and buy them, but my latest love is strong one-word dot coms. I think that dot org is respected and known and the keywords are much cheaper than dot com. The new hot TLDs come and go but dot org has been relevant the entire time. I am now concentrating on adding a 10-12 of really good keyword dot orgs to my portfolio.
I’m back from a working vacation in the High Country of NC. It was tough because we were crazy busy at the nursery was. Add in that we had COVID run rampant across the nursery after Labor Day. It went crazy because 50,000 students came in that week, we had big football games for U of Illinois and lots of activities during Labor Day. Also had a group of 4 go to Florida for the weekend. Covid got in and even though we work outside it got us. Nobody was really that bad but we have pretty young, vaccinated staff. Of course, the hypochondriacs immediately said they got it and tested negative. Had all the signs and symptoms. We wrote down a list of who would call in sick first and we were 100% on the money. Some were because we knew who liked to go out and some because they miss constantly for being sick. It all worked out but left us super short and I was in the mountains and couldn’t help much. The good news is we’re busy and its looking like a great fall. This summer I was questioning the economy and so far it seems like people are watching where they spend their money and plants is one they’ve chosen.
Curious. What other industries do you think people are spending money on? Looking for public opinion

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
Real Estate is Still Strong. A few less buyers per house but still several buyers per house. Prices are starting to slow the rise, probably because they were going up too fast to begin with.
P.S. I’m going to buy some Ford stock this week 🙂
I was just at a regional casino in CT this weekend and there was not a room to be had. The gambling part was not overly crowded but the restaurants were jammed. I think people continue to spend on experiences. Other than that I have continued to see Chick-fil-a, Chipotle, and Costco consistently very busy!
I busk in small towns in Ontario that get a lot of tourists, Purple Busker [.com] 12 String electric acoustic , mic with vocal and Harmonica in the rack.Hand shaker and foot tambourine. People love it, you can see the life coming back into them. They spend so generously, I can give out 35 cent Peacock feathers for the pictures and their souvenirs. Best of luck to you, I’m here cause I have my retirement in music domains.
Love this Jivan. I think you’ll always be playing music, just not having to busk because of your great domain sales
Your point about people spending on experiences is what got me to comment.
