People are always talking about the fraud of Tether propping up the Bitcoin market and not being backed by any real asset. Tether has been fairly quiet but recently said they are 100% backed by real assets. And I absolutely believe they are. But I don’t think they were until recently Here’s why They essentially gave themselves a free loan. For instance, they mint 10 million worth of tether out of thin air and put it into bitcoin. Bitcoin goes up and now it’s worth 12 million. They sell the bitcoin and put the cashback into reserves but now with 2 million extra. They did this over and over and it seemed to be pushing it up. The key is what happened to the bitcoin they were buying? My guess is they sold it but I haven’t heard anyone discuss it. I have ZERO idea if this is really happening and is merely my hypothesis. But we know they are buying bitcoin. It’s public. We also know that it went straight up for 3 weeks as more and more were minted and used. A lot of money was made. We used to do this at the dog track as tellers. We could put in bets without having to actually put money in the drawer. We knew our drawer would be audited every night. But not until the end of the night. We also watched every race, every night, for years. There were trends we could see that others don’t. For instance. A bigger dog in the inside rail that had speed tended to bump the other out of the way at the first turn. So if a favorite was a smaller dog and in an outside lane we would bet the big dog on the inside lane to show. It had a good return. Big dog little dog favorite on the outside 1-2-3 quinella box was a good bet too. And we could do it all on free money unless we lost and then we had to put the money in before the end of the night.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
