Two of my favorite people in the industry are Andy Booth and Drew Rosener. I love their personalities and they are literally the best in the business. There was a point when Andy stopped reselling the names he found to domain investors and started holding them. He found himself competing with Drew and other brokers on the elite names. Of course, that caused some animosity . But now Drew seems to have realized there is plenty of meat out there for both of them. It helps when you have record sales every month. Media Options has taken it to the next level this year and they were already the top level. Andy has done just as well. Between the two both have had millions of dollars of sales in the last year.
It wasn’t good for anyone to have them fighting. Especially people that were friends of both. It looks like it’s all behind them now. I completely understood the animosity. I’m like that all the time. Protective of my businesses and jump on anyone that looks to take anything away from them. As I get older I realize that its probably better to just keep moving forward and worry about myself and making my businesses better. Worrying less about who is trying to copy or move in. I don’t practice what I preach but I do it a little differently. I don’t say anything, I just cut them off and block them out. It’s not the mature thing to do but its where I’m at. But I’m really happy that Andy and Drew are getting along. They’re both great people and they’re better domain investors as friends than they are enemies.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
