One thing that is starting to be more prevalent is bad customer service. For two reasons. One, they simply can’t find qualified personnel to the job. From answering phones to picking orders. The quality applicants are dwindling and the pay required is reaching levels that were seen by college graduates just a few years ago. In the smaller business and services they are so busy they don’t feel the need to call back or take any extra steps to please the customers. Because there is a new customer right behind them. I have two vendors I spend $50K a year with not fill my orders and when I complain they tell me find someone else to buy from.
One concrete dealer had my order in December. They delivered half of my product in May. When I called today to see where they other half was they said they were so busy filling orders they hadn’t had time to make mine. I asked why they weren’t making mine before they made the new customers. They said we were a delivery and everyone else was pickup so it was easier. I was a customer when they were tiny. I gave them their biggest order they ever had. But Covid made them busy and they f’n me over. This is happening all over the country. People stepping on the aged customers for the new rush. It’s going to hurt when it all slows down. And it will. It always does. So many small businesses and services are missing an opportunity of the future. They simply have to return a phone call and say I apologize but we are booked out 6 months. I would love to work with you in the future. I will call you back in a few months and see if you still need the service. Most likely they’ll find someone else but when you call back you have a slight chance of getting the business but you will impress them with actually calling them back. 99% of the people aren’t.
We’ve moved into a crazy time where selling is not the hard part. Getting products to sell is. Those that figure out how to fill the shelves are going to be the big winners.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
