Something that I NEVER thought I would even be pondering was the “marketability” of my NFT apes and other things I bought. Not ability to sell but their ability to use in advertising. The amount of character and uniqueness they have vs other similar apes. I think as time goes these will become recognizable characters. I truly feel in time there will be a few you know by name. It will be put into a show, movie, or some other advertising campaign. It sounds silly but I really think its a possibility. I was told by one person that I should ditch my apes that smoke because of this reason. When I looked closely I came to the conclusion that nobody really notices that my blue ape with a hat has a joint in his mouth and in advertising I switched it to a blade of grass. For my older ape he has a pipe. Literally nobody under 80 smokes a pipe anymore. It actually makes him one of the most recognizable apes and ages him to the point I’ve marketed him as the “oldest ape in the BYAC” That leads me to my military ape. I bought it because of the colors. I liked the colors that were in the pic. I told my “purchasing group” that I was looking for the brightest ape I could find. I picked the blue background because light blue shows colors better than any background. He also liked his bright eyes. Looked exciting and aware. But I got one with an army helmet and that’s limiting. So now I think I need to sell him and look for an ape that I can used to promote items better. And yes I think these apes will make money as pitchmen or pitchapes for products. Mark this post. We’ll see if this stupid, crazy thought becomes true.
