So today is my second Covid vaccine shot. I got it because I am horticulture and retail facing. Our town is moving right along the groups and its my turn. I’ve heard the second shot can be a little flu like so I’ll let you know. I wrote here about my Shingles second shot. It was rough. Terrible flu like symptoms for 48 hrs. It didn’t help I got the flu shot at the same time. Probably not a good idea. Either way I did not make big plans for the day.
I spent the day yesterday tagging trees at the nursery. Its super exciting getting to harvest trees you spent 3 to 7 years growing. Its a ton of work and investment but because I sell straight to retail I get $300 to $500 per tree. I learned about the importance of selling direct to consumers. I knew what Nike knows now. If you can produce something and can get customers to do all the buying from you then forget the wholesale and middlemen. They only rob margin. Nike absolutely loves not selling to the small shoe stores. The get full retail. As a consumer its nice going to see the shoes but I have to admit I don’t mind buying the stuff direct and online. And the drops come quickly. Scheduling releases with all their vendors must have been a pain in the ass. Now they can do it all in house. We’re the same. We get orders, we dig the trees right out of our fields. Our cost being seedlings, maintenance, and a ton of land and time. But again, we get full retail. I also learned something late. I used to think that because my cost was so much less than my competitors that I would be a lower price and I would still make more. Now I get the same or more and promote you’re buying directly from the grower. It exudes better quality and grown in your zone. I left hundreds of thousands of dollars on the table early on. But you learn and you grow. I do both……literally.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
Hi Shane,
First very happy to see BeeHouse.com alive for The World to taste your production and hard work.
My wife is in Miami so by next week will order, I humbly can say she
is a Coffee ( she is Italian) & Honey expert from the tasting perspective.
Excellent job in your packaging from what I can see.
In regards to Ergonomicchair.com if you manufacture the most incredible
one and only ergonomic chair and you can decide to throw out the Herman Miller chair, than this could be your name.
Marketing yourself as the ultra best, the one and last you’ll buy is a way to
stand out, but it must be 100% what you are selling or you’ll be the whole day
processing refunds.
As we say your path should be blessed with honey & milk.
PD: Have you already made a nice BeeHouse.com mug so I could order one!!!
With the purchase of 3 bottles you get a free mug!!
Thanks for the great suggestions. I haven’t done swag yet because I want to concentrate on buying product and not swag. But all of that is coming. We’ve made enough money that we’ve purchased extra bottles and honey. Once we’ve secured product we produce some mugs, hats and shirts. Thanks.
PS, changed date
Hi Shane
Was their any issue with my post?
Forgot to mention that you need to change the date
