Heading to see my daughter today. The nursery is going to be crazy from this point on until summer so I figured my wife and I better go see her while I have a chance. My chance is this weekend. She hasn’t seen her new dog/brother so I’m throwing Franklin in the car to go with us. Will probably turn a 12 hr trip into a much longer affair. Having a dog has been a pain in the ass at times but everything I remember it being at other times. When we walk together at the nursery I can already feel the bond as he walks around and comes back. Just to make sure I know he’s there. Every night he could sleep in his kennel but when here at the computer he always comes and lays at my feet. Making sure a piece of him touches me. I’ve only had him four months but I can already see he’s going to be a good friend. Although that may be put to the test over the next four days.
