I’ve had several friends telling me what NFTs they’re buying and what random things they’ve put their money in. I find it all interesting and I’m pretty much treating it all like a game A game that keeps score through making money. I intend on losing it all but hope I make something. In no way do I compare it to Bitcoin or Ethereum. Those are legit investments. I also think that chasing things and buying second rounds of hot products is a mistake. I think CryptoPunks are hot for a reason. All the other copies of similar punks, animals, masks, and various limited things will end up leaving a bunch of bag holders long term. We’re already seeing it in TopShots. They are artificially keeping it alive by making it really hard to get money out. If it were easy the prices would be in half. By keeping it in the system its creating a ponzi scheme where early buyers sell their cards for a lot of money and use the money to keep the prices of other cards high. If they could take the money they would take out a lot of it in cash and move it to crypto.
I still believe the best place to put your money is in yourself. In what you do best. I am putting it into domains, the nursery and into the businesses I’ve started. I guarantee I’ll get as good or better of returns in my businesses as I will in a some alien monkey. Although I agree it would be hard to beat the CryptoPunks returns. Those are once in a lifetime things. But so are my domains.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
