I’m going to either be a fool or a genius. I sold 100K worth of bitcoin and put it ALL into Ford options. I think the returns on the options are going to do better than Bitcoin. It’s a huge risk but here are my reasons. This is not financial advice. Make any trades your own. 1. I still have bitcoin so I have exposure 2. The options expire in 2022 so I have a full year to have the stock run. My options represent 50,000 shares of stock. Has to stay above 12 to hold value 3. I think Ford is super undervalued compared to other car companies. They own a big part of Rivian who is going to build the skateboard for a lot of their new vehicles 4. The stock would be 50% higher if it wasn’t for the semi conductor chip shortage that is causing production delays. But that will end eventually 5. I think the Bronco will be a big hit 6. Their trucks mint money for them 7. Could get USPS truck contract 8. Pension plan is killing them but a lot of people on the plan are old and “leaving” 9. The new CEO is fantastic IMO 10. They are paying Electric credits to Tesla and that will change once they start pumping out their own electric vehicles 11. The stock market is ahead of the real economy so I am getting a piece of 2022 as well This could all blow up in my face or the stock market could crash and end it as well. Lots of risk here. But if Ford goes to $20 I make roughly $400K if for some crazy reason it mooned and went to $50 I would make 1.6 million Compare this to 2.85 BTC which is what I sold to get the $100K Mark this post and we’ll talk about how much I made or what a stupid move it was.
