I was pleasantly surprised to see they actually used some of my interview with the New York Times yesterday. You never know what parts they are going to use and how you’re going to be portrayed. I think it came across exactly as I see it. There is a ton of money to be made in domaining but there are some areas I choose to stay out of. It’s not that I’m morally against all of these areas, it’s merely that I want to avoid legal and moral controversy at this point in my life. It’s just easier to stay away but I admit my type A, want to make money, side of me begs to dive in.
Valuable.com This one is going for a lot less than it’s worth. This is easily a $50,000 domain
DeltaSig.com There’s really only one type of end user here and that’s fraternities, either delta sigma pi or delta sigma phi
S8.com Rare two character dot com. Under $20,000 is a good deal here as well
11i11.om It’s one of the crazies English domains I’ve seen. Almost looks Russian. I might buy it just for the visual pleasure
Cherubs.org At first I couldn’t think how to monetize this one but there are actually people that collect these
ShortStory.net Think of it as Twitter with a lot less people
AtoZGardening.com Nice PR 4 site if you are into gardening names…….wait, nevermind leave this one for me
“it’s worst”? Is that some kind of Freudian slip?
Ha! Fixed. Probably there because I’m always tired when I do this post, but you never know I may have inner feelings of dislike for the domain I don’t know about
Nice article and interview. But no link love for domainshane.com from the NYT? That’s the holy grail of href’s.
Good job on the article Shane but you forgot to plug DomainShane.com 🙂 and or your plant website.
