9. MomsChoice.com sold for $31,500
Each of the eight domains above is either parked or doesn’t resolve. Several are under privacy protection, while several others are owned by Chinese individuals.
10. Saucey.com sold for $29,000
This is the traffic leader for this week’s lightly developed names, with its Alexa rank near 200,000. An alcohol delivery service is live, and they pitch delivery in 30 minutes or less. They’re predominantly on the west coast right now, serving San Fran, LA, San Diego, Oakland, Sacramento and then Chicago is the outlier geographically. Delivery fees are included in the cost of the alcohol, and sample prices I pulled up for delivery in Chicago included $24 for a 12-pack of Stella bottles, $27 for a 750 ml bottle of Tito’s vodka, or $14 for a 6 pack of Antihero IPA cans from Revolution Brewing. They’ve raised over $10 million in funding in three rounds, and for a company with that type of funding, the domain was an inexpensive upgrade from SauceyApp.com.
