GoLocksmith.com is up for auction this week.
When I say something is easy to build out, it’s not really easy. I merely mean it has a very distinct pathway to buildout and won’t cost a fortune.
There’s a locksmith in every town. Some are good, some are not-so-good, and most of them don’t have a decent website.
You know what they all want though? Customers. Phone calls. Leads.
It sounds like a brand that already exists. It’s clean, trustable, and sounds fast — and when you’re locked out of your car at 11PM, that’s what you’re searching for. You’re not Googling “Bob’s key guy.” You’re typing “locksmith near me” and clicking the one that looks legit.
Here’s what I’d do:
- Build a clean, mobile-first site with “Locksmiths in [City]” pages for every major metro
- Add a map, reviews, call-to-action buttons, and trackable phone numbers
- Plug it into Google Maps / Local SEO
- Add a lead form — “Locked out? We’ll call you in 60 seconds”
- Route those leads to real locksmiths — either charge per call, per lead, or monthly flat rate
- Maybe offer for free in the beginning and then follow up after you’ve shown use case
- Maybe even step it up if you can get some SEO juice
- Rank for “24/7 locksmith in Chicago” and every nearby suburb
- Sell featured listings to locksmiths who want top placement
- Or license out local pages to one locksmith per city and give them exclusivity
Locksmith is one of the highest intent, highest conversion rate local service categories. It’s not a “maybe I’ll buy” — it’s an “I’m locked out, I need this NOW” service.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.* All names chosen by us. (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
