SHANE’S BIG LIST: Sunday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on the 3rd

Was going over my February numbers this weekend and I realized that I had a pretty solid month taking names I bought recently at auctions and putting them right back up again 60 days later.  While many didn’t sell for much,  there is certainly a business model in picking off Godaddy names for cheap and reselling them for $50-100.  It’s easy to sell a name for $100 and it didn’t take much reaching out.   Most people have no trouble paying $250 and under for a name. While I may have been able to get more there was some scale. I sold over 10 names and picked up a $1600 dollars profit.  All for 30-40 emails and/or relisting them at an auction.   There is just so much opportunity to make money in this industry it’s crazy.  Now on to the names and the daily quote.

“Here’s all you have to know about men and women: women are crazy, men are stupid. And the main reason women are crazy is that men are stupid.” -George Carlin

RSBM.com All solid letters. 12 years old

SaveCordBlood.com Look up save cord blood on Google and you’ll understand the value

VictoryTour.com I’m seeing more value in the Hunger Games than the Jackson Tour

OpenReader.com This one could be huge. So many uses and under $150. The dot org is available as well

BestProxies.com Not sure how you make money on proxy servers but I do understand there use.

MeteorBusiness.com With the new shower in Russia this is more relevant than ever

$3.99 .COM and Free Private Registration from GoDaddy.com!

WDDS.com  Good acronym but surprisingly not a radio or television station

Typos.net   There are still a lot of people that make big money on these in our industry

HigherDefinition.com   More meaning than just the 5th album of the famous Christian musical group Cross Movement

Vabe.com  The seller did a great job with a lander on the site letting people know that it was up for sale at Namejet

Cigy.com  Another great name. Same thing here.  Great job Michael.  You know how to get the most out of your auctions

Kuchi.com  The Chinese way of spelling Coochie.  I made that up but it still has a ton of bids

  1. Curious on how many sold using Auction sites vs just offering them to people you know or reached out to?
The auctions sites seem to take as much time for a $300 sale vs a $3000 sale or higher.
But, yea $500 sales are a winner in this case for both parties as the $500 owner should be able to make it overtime with it.

    1. I’ll give the names from Namejet since I already made them public. Huge gain.com lickle dot com and load lock dot com. All $12 purchases from Godaddy. I sold 4 privately but they were from $100 to $500. Not very much money but easy money and all sold to small companies or people.
