I don’t ask many favors of people. I don’t hit up my friends for candy or raffle tickets my kid is selling. I just buy all of them to avoid bothering them. But today I have a favor to help a fellow domain investor. And not just A investor, one of the best and nicest guys in the industry. If you’ve ever been to a domain conference then you would agree. He’s one of the best developers and has a great eye for domains. Alan Dunn and I have become good friends over the years and once a year Alan raises money for Autism. Here is a letter he sent out yesterday
For my family Autism is every day but once a year I try to reach out and see what support we can raise for my son’s Autism Walks event. Last year was a true success where Alek’s class raised almost $7,800 for Autism research!!
Check out the newspaper link here – http://marplenewtown.patch.com/groups/schools/p/culbertson-raises-over-7-800-for-autism-research#photo-11452589
This not only meant a lot to the school but Alek’s class ended up winning an award so he got to stand in the front of a school presentation where he (and his classmates) were awarded a gold medal. I don’t know about you but when I was 7 years old that would have been one cool day. Of course, without your help this would have never been possible so THANK YOU again to those who donated last year. This year I would love to surpass that goal. Autism is something that affects millions of people and for us its a very personal issue since our son was Diagnosed shortly after we adopted him back in 2009. He’s come a long way but there is no cure so we need to raise money for research and support. In fact, it’s so personal to me I ended up acquiring the domain autismawareness.com a while back to one day develop it.
If you have an extra $5 or $50 would you mind donating a few dollars to this event? In the same fashion as last year I promise NEVER to delete an email from any of you requesting a few dollars for charity and vow to support each and every one of you anytime you ask. So far I think I have enough Girl Scout cookies and coupon books to feed a small country but whatever it takes to help my son’s school I will reciprocate the generosity.
If you would like to donate HERE is the link to do so.

Opposite.com Back up again. Good name but the reason it didn’t sell last time is the difficulty of its use. Names that can be brands always do best and this one does have uses, just not as many as many other common words.
Fravo.com A 5L and 5Ls continue to sell well
Jeefa.com Another one here
IGHA.com All good letters and ends in A, the best ending letter IMO
BGRA.com Another one and it’s 11 years old
cupcakes.info I’m selling it at a reserve half of what I paid for it. I was hungry when I bought it and paid too much. A PR2 if that makes any difference
Featured Offer – 32% off new products at GoDaddy! -CAD)
GQU.com The Q won’t stop the price.
GrantGuide.com I’ve known grants are big money since the crazy guide with a big question mark on his chest was pushing his giant book in infomercials.
MedicinalWeed.com Is there any other kind?
Telephones.info Just one day left in the auction. Telephones are one of the biggest businesses in the world. This is a steal at this price IMO
