Did my taxes yesterday and although I do a quarterly on my sales and expenditures I am surprised how much money I made and spent. I felt like I really hadn’t sold very many domains this year but forgot I had sold quite a few in the first quarter. Add that to my revenues from this and a few other sites and I actually had a great year. Of course, I put most of that right back into domains and going to conferences. I’ve been doing this a few years yet I am still amazed that I can make high five figures as a second job. Again, I reinvest but if I didn’t I could have had an extra $100K in the last two years. It’s still small potatoes compared to many, but it allows me to do a ton of fun things and gets me closer each day to hitting that goal of making a million dollars in domaining. Here are today’s names. A special this week. The first 5 people to list a name in the Book of 10 get a special rate of $20. Remember it’s posted here, the top of Domaining.com and in the Domaining.com newsletter that goes to 18,000 people. Contact me to book
GR7.com Short, aged, and sexy. Well, maybe short and aged. 14 years old
JM1.com Another one. Both under $500 which is below market price IMO
CocoProducts.com There are a lot of customers that deal in coco products that I think would want this domain. Only 1 bidder at press time. 11 years old
1OD.com Looks like CCC.coms are going to dominate my Godaddy picks
Jabang.com typo of the huge Indian site Jabong.com. Gets 10s of thousands in monthly traffic
Free-Ones.com FreeOnes is a large adult site. Or so I’ve heard
SexyShaper.com Spanks turned into 100 million dollar business. $12 will get you started on the next mirage product
Biebers.com My how Justin Bieber has fallen. Not one taker for this one
NewHomePrices.com Didn’t sell last time but still a solid name. The new home market is back and there are plenty of potential new home owners looking for general costs of building a new home
NewBaby.net Other than college, there is no other time you will spend like you are going to die at the end of the month then when you are having a kid. Highly valued audience
oRoam.com Brandable tech name that comes with a logo as well. No bidders. First bid meets reserve
Have a name at auction and need more exposure. Send me an email. I may be able to help.
Bino.com One of the better CVCVs to come out lately. I’ll be curious to see how much it goes for
TSBR.com Good letters. 16 years old
ISGW.com Another nice LLLL.com 15 years old.
DynaGo.com Not huge value but I do think it would make a nice generic brand. No bidders
Valp.com Thought there would be more bidders for this one
Buvo.com Another nice CVCV but half the bidders of the one above
Fubby.com Fat a Chubby? Friendly Hubby?
FutureCells.com I liked it last time it came up for auction. For some reason I like it even more. Sounds so biotechish
4529.com I’m curious to see what a NNNN.com that starts with 4 will go for
PBB.net If you’re going to go for LLL.net this is the kind you want IMO
HistoricTrees.org Build it out and I’ll visit regularly. Or maybe I should just buy it
*All names chosen by me, Shane, and the goal of this list is to have all links be paid through commission (click through and purchase a name you like) or paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct.
