DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Tuesday 8/5

Escrow.com

There have been some amazing sales over the last few weeks.  Some have been public and some have been private.  DomainGuardians was pretty excited to talk about their $1 million dollar sale of BTC yet the guy/girl/company that sold it was pretty calm about it.  I know of another guy/girl/company that almost reached that same number as well last week with a sale. And 4.cn has had some sales with quite a few zeros at the end. All the same reaction “It’s been a good week”.  Quite the understatement.  I know I would be jumping up and down, looking to upgrade my old F430 Ferrari to a newer model.  But these guy/girl/company act like they have done it before and will do it again.  And that’s half the reason they got the prices they got.  They know the value of their domain and won’t settle until they get their number. The other difference is they actually had a domain that was worth those prices to someone.  It’s easy to ask a million but it’s a different story that someone will actually pay it. I’m just hoping I do it once.   I’m also hoping neither of their names come public because I’m thinking of claiming the sales were mine 🙂 A man can dream can’t he ?  Here are today’s names

FlirtPad.com  17 years old.  Registered before iPads.  For $12 it may be worth a flier.  NO bidders

  1. N6.org is for sale. You said CC.org’s is always a good investment. What is the minimum retail price/floor price for CC.org’s regardless of the quality of the letter or number?
