DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Wednesday 8/6

Escrow.com

Demand Media had a good day in the stock market rising by more than 11%  Rightside didn’t do quite as well and closed 1% down.  If you bought at close you’re already down quite a bit as it opened yesterday at almost 16 and tanked from there.  I think there is upside to both but it’s not always straight up. I’ve learned from owning a brick and mortar business that if you are in a hurry to get great wealth then you find yourself gambling rather than investing.    Here are today’s names

DrippingWet.com  I know, I know, sounds dirty but I was thinking car wash.  Actually I wasn’t.  I just like the $12 price and the fact it’s 17 years old

Juneo.com  I think it would make a great brand.  15 years old

PickupParts.com  Pretty obvious what the end user is going to sell.  Getting some action

GSV.com  This one may actually sell.  I am going with the over

WritersClub.com  PR3.   Already at a little higher price than I thought I could buy it for

LoveAssist.com  Pretty decent dating site name or brand.  2 bidders at press time

CMOZ.com   I really don’t know what DMOZ stands for.  I just knew I wanted my site listed on it (looked it up.  Directory Mozilla)

 Ardy.com  Getting lots of love

9OX.com  All NLL.coms have a value of $150 or more.   In my opinion of course

OldEmails.com  Not a huge value here but people need email backup more than ever. It’s become the organizer for a high number of people.  No bidders

75M.com  Opening bid is $650 and I don’t think that’s too far off true value

9AG.com  Under $300 at press time.  Over under $550

88957.com  The 88 is the drive and man is it driving

NEW FRIDAY!!!! Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day. 33% off new purchases. Great for new gTLDs CJCRMN33

NSFN.com  Great letters. 17 years old.  N for Network

WritingPros.com  If you like writingclub then you probably like this one as well. 16 years old

IAS.com  Looks like it could cross $25K

Namet.com  I’m seeing “name” but all the bids are most likely because it is also a surname and many more things

WeiXiang.com  A Chinese name so just buy it

YinHuan.com  Same thing here.  Has quite a few bidders like the rest of the Chinese names

Tenticles.com  Take off the S and it’s worth a whole lot more

GameFest.com  Surprised there aren’t more bidders

4XC.com  I see it as a good Cross Country running name

DessertRecipes.com  201K searches every month for this exact term.  Bigger name than I thought

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details. *All names chosen by me, Shane, and the goal of this list is to have all links be paid through commission . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct.
