I was giving an old laptop to a friend and cleaning it up a bit and found my list of domains that I owned and the prices I paid. It was from 2009 and IF I still had the four number dot coms that I had back then now I would be several six figures richer. I know it’s easy looking back and saying if but it’s still kind of fun. It was a different market back then with exact match still in play. Unfortunately I was a follower back then and didn’t listen to my business mind and instead read the blogs and opinions of what I should invest in. I’ve since come up with my own strategy that has served me much better. In hindsight the best method would have just been to keep buying and not sold but I am a reinvestor and don’t bring in money so it would have been impossible. I have to sell to buy. Not to pay the bills but to buy. Fortunately the sales have more digits and it allows me to buy more names. The bad part is my tastes have become more expensive. Here are today’s names
Seref.com A million results for this first name. Surprised it’s gotten as many bids as it has
Progressa.com Sounds like a American made hard shell taco. Getting some bids
7143.com About $1000 over what I think it should but not too far off.
VeryNormal.com No bidders. I find that people that that think they are normal usually aren’t and people that think they are different are pretty normal
CoolSneaks.com The love of sneakers hasn’t faded in 40 years
NDRS.com All good letters. Over under $270
XAAV.com Someone is going to figure out how to pronounce this and make it cool
65H.com Had a whole bunch of room between bid and value at press time. In my opinion of course. I think it’s worth $650 or more
IWAU.com At $27 at press time
13853.com I have no idea why this one is doing better than the others. And thus lies the reasoning behind my lack of 5N.com purchases
NaturalMeat.com 16 years old. Organic and Natural are all the buzz
HealthCarePlans.com Fantastic name. Should cross $100,000. Almost there

AHSA.com Also great letters. 16 years old
AA33.com I knew this would get a few bids

Bloop.com Nice to see a 5L getting some love

RunnersShop.com Build it and I will visit. Didn’t think it would get more than 50 bids. Was wrong
Chengba.com Someone will have to explain all the bids here. I’m only getting in line because there IS a line. Don’t know why everyone’s in it
