I was very happy with the amount of newsletter signups we had yesterday. I’d love to get it to the point where the newsletter goes out to enough people that I can really have some fun with it so sign up if you haven’t. On another note, I realize there are problems with all our auction services. But we also need to be thankful for them. They give us liquidity. I would lose a lot of my sales if I didn’t have the big three. My advice, if you see a problem let them know. If you don’t know who to contact email me and I’ll tell you. If you think they listen to me because I write this stupid blog you’re kidding yourself. They listen because I want to help them get better. The better and safer they are, the better it is for me as a domain investor. I could do 3 pages on things that need to be improved but I feel 100% secure buying and selling my domains on Godaddy, Flippa, and Namejet and I am thankful as a domain investor they are all there. And before you say it, yes all three advertise on this blog but I stood by the three before they paid me and until they do something to the point they no longer deserve my support, I will continue to defend. But what do I know, my specialty is bird law. Here are today’s names.
TrademarkResearch.com It’s a bit long but tells you what you can do on the site. Or could if it were built out. 19 years old
TheBatteryExpert.com No bidders. Batteries are becoming a huge part of our lives. Might as well be the expert. Not much risk. 12 years old
Dickle.com For some reason nobody wants to bid on the dickle.com Actually not a bad brand. Certainly memorable
Investors.info I think this one would do better on Flippa but maybe you can get a good price on GD and flip it over there. But if I remember correctly this one will have a high reserve
68670.com Zero ending, no fours. Good for at least $250 I would think
OOQS.com Get it under $70 and you’ve made a good buy IMO
BYUD.com Brigham Young University D_______.
AUQY.com Some call this pronounceable…..not me, I just call it a LLLL.com.
ExpiringNames.com The perfect name for a expiring name or dropping tool. Google will love this one. Good affiliate money I’ve heard. At $80
BackupService.com Hasn’t made reserve a couple times but I don’t blame him. This is a heck of a name. Pretty generic though
Matinee.com 19 years old. Could sell almost any kind of tickets. At $300
SelfieSticks.info Nobody seems to want this one. Only at $10 but have no idea what reserve is. Worth a little more than that
Refinement.com I’m the exact opposite of refined but I know a good domain when I see it and this isn’t to bad
TheNinja.com Another one that’s been up for sale before and didn’t meet reserve. We’ll see if the owner still likes it more than me
A GODADDY COUPON CODE: A 1.99 Cent Dot Com Registration. Used on 1/26/15 ctfxc
2SQ.com Don’t see a lot of NLL.coms. Ends in Q but I’m told that’s super awesome in some other language . 18 years old
CCorporation.com We talked about this on DomainSherpa and we all agreed it was a great name
FieldTraining.com Survival, sales. Lots of good uses for this one
NameCreator.com Lots of name creator sites on the net. Be THE name creator site
MaxiDump.com Took one last night. Felt great. Also a good waste hauler name. No bidders
GiantPanda.com Pending delete. I want the panda
JustLaunched.com I see a startup/kickstarter type name here. Memorable
84350.com Only 9 bidders, now 10, on this pending delete

*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct
You should do a future article on auctions sites
It might help the ones who are running it to hear comments from the various users and their experiences
John,
I think that is a great idea. I will do exactly that
I have learned from reading this blog that .info may not be the best but selfie sticks are all the rage in California. Every teenager and tourist puts their phone on the end of one of these and takes selfies every where they go
