I can’t believe that we are almost to Thanksgiving. At the nursery we are still selling trees like crazy and now we’re about to have to start selling Christmas trees. Add in all the domains I’m buying and selling and I can’t remember if I’m talking Fraser firs or 6N.com But the truth is I’m having a great time and not taking for granted how well things are doing on every front. And a reminder. There’s a new Domain Sherpa up today with Guiseppe of GGRG.com. And remember to let us know what you think in the comments. Here are today’s names. Click for current prices.
DMRW.com One of the CHIP and Western Premiums that I love. 15 years old which is just icing
.
VPNC.com This is the kind I don’t get. Has a V but the price is flying.
.
AY9.com We can now apply the Chinese letters to these things so the A keeps the value a little lower. Over under $700 IMO
.
LMMS.net Great 4L.net Investment quality. Just kidding. I won’t start that
.
DOED.com Bottom level name. Ed needs doing
.
11719.com Love it but so does everyone else
.
PNWBB.com No bidders. Just putting this here for Historic records. Can be had for $12. Next year I don’t think it will.
.
718818.com I think this is it for numerics as far as length. There will be 7 and 8 with value but 6s will have value for every single number.
.
981288.com Another one that I really like. I think I will buy it
.
eOffers.com Ahhh so nice to see a real word in here
.
988J.com Why not. Can’t think of a reason to tell you don’t buy that isn’t hypocritical
.
880X.com Since we’re doing this I might as well keep going
.
5050.co Now I’ve really strayed off course. I sure do like 5050 though
.
77TR.com Just pointing out the rising value of NNLL.coms. Not a recommendation, just an acknowledgement
.
962998.com I have bid on every 5N.com on this list today and I have single handily driven up the price on each one without even becoming the high bidder. Damn this is going to be expensive to get in
.
BrandKeep.com Not a bad brand site for $20
.
LeftorRight.com Under $20 at press time. Relatively short and memorable
.
Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 – Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)
.
SoundBar.com Getting no love but an awesome name.
.
Apropos.com Yesterday I listed this one and hardly heard the word. I saw it 30 times today. Like buying what you think is a special new car and realized they are all over the place
.
ECCS.com 24 years old. Good enough for me
.
BridalPhotography.com The only better name is WeddingPhotos. Ok probably a few more better names but still very nice
.
FMDK.com Flippa getting in on a little CHIP action
.
HQ.io Don’t see a lot of LL.io names for sale
.
.
XXWW.com That $10,000 initial bid has been passed
.
RZYN.com A CHIP, therefore now worth $1300 plus (moved up $100 this week)
.
DXKX.com If you read the above you know I’m on this one as well
.

Aftermarketing.com This a pretty good term for what I do. One bidder
.
RMLF.com Is it wrong that I see MILF ?
.
GetGrass.com Lawn or high
.
GrowGrass.com High or Lawn
.
GrassStore.com Now we’re just talking weed. No bidders
.
Lesson.org A teacher would love to own this. Or anyone that wants to make a lesson tool for them
.
FMMC.net I mentioned a LLLL.net above so I figured I’d show this one on Namejet to compare the two final prices
.
GBLH.com 12 bidders at press time. Will have more. That’s how good of a predictor I am
.
Cubian.com I thought this was a follower of Mark Cuban but evidently its a game. Got my attention because it was short
.
RFNP.com This one will finish at a higher price than the above. Again, predictions
.
TFYM.com Only 11 bidders. Actually not a bad Western name
.
KoreanFurniture.com No bids. Obviously they make furniture in Korea. And I see quite a few listings on Google for it. Would be a good inexpensive marketing name for one of them
.
HGPC.com Another worldwide domain. C for Corporation
.
ClaimsProcessing.com The biggest sector is medical. And its tens of billions. Just a few bidders
.
HomeAnywhere.com Great marketing name. Hotel comes to mind. Nobody agrees, one bidder
.
CardComparison.com Just waiting for a buildout. A lot of competition but the domain would help bring this one to the top
.

A broker from ename just told me the market was at $125 for 6n. The one they wanted was 177785
Glad I said no.
One can still hand register better LLLLL than PNWBB.
None of these letters are in the top 10 of Chinese premiums.
But, yes, by next year we may be seeing domains like this in a different light.
Jen, is there some sort of ranking of Chinese premium letters beyond ‘vowels and V’ and ‘everything else’? As I scan names I sometimes use the term ‘super premium letters’ – the ones that are considered premium in both the Western and Chinese markets… but I’ve never seen a ranking of the letters themselves.
s, c, y, h, z, j, a (yes, that’s a vowel, but it’s position should not appear at the beginning of a string and preferably at the end), d, t, x.
If you do a search, you will find that most domains with all premiums are unavailable (there may be a few bouncing around, especially ones with “a”). The premium repeaters and palindromes are pretty much gone, though some may be found at auction.
But it really seems more complicated than that. There are also LL combinations with specific meanings, such as BJ, JS, TJ, HN, among others.
I’m still learning, and it’s not easy because there is much conflicting info out there, such as “4” being an unlucky number.
Well, yes and no. By itself, 4 = death, but in certain combinations, it is considered lucky, for example, 54 = no death, and 348 = wealth for three lifetimes.
The only certainty: “V” does not exist in Pinyin, and, therefore, is not desirable.
This is info I have gleaned from several sources; it would be great if someone from China would chime in; the Chinese are the main buyers and more knowledgeable than someone like me.
With that in mind, I have registered some domains that could be crossover brandables, such as cyjyc, zytyz, and zyhyz (all palindromes).
