Yesterday I mentioned that Chaomi had changed up their main page a little bit. They removed a column and added some new data. One of the new columns purports to show the number of names in circulation for each name category. This is pretty cool. From what I can tell via translation, this is the number of names for sale on ename and love names. A table showing this data is below.

Most of the descriptions are easily understood, but just in case there are questions:
N = Numeric
I = Initial (a letter not including a,e,i,o,u,v)
C = Character (any number or letter)
It’s nice to see .com and .cc together and also see that there are more 3C.cc’s in circulation than 3C.com’s. If short is sweet .cc will always win. Even the .cc keywords are getting great prices on the aftermarket auctions!! Much easier to type than .com and still prices are at about 10% or less of the .com equivalent. 😉 Go .cc!!!
I’ve noticed that some of the keywords are getting bids now. It wasn’t very long ago that they keywords could be had for next to nothing. I think I remember Shane saying that he has some. Personally, I have my doubts on how well english keywords will do in .cc long term. It is my favorite extension to type though.
