I’ve found their are two types of people. People that get things done in their free time. And those that free up time to get things done. It’s simple. If someone really wants to do something they make time for it. If you’re wife asks you to go to some wedding of a second cousin we simply say we’re busy, have to work. Find some reason why we can’t. Get asked to the football game? You arrange the schedule, cut something out, make time to go. In short, there is no such thing as I don’t have time. What you’re really saying its just not quite important enough that I made time for it. And that’s not really a bad thing. There are only so many things you can make time for. Everyone has their priorities and responsibilities. Everybody’s wants are different. As long as we don’t expect the performance to be greater than the effort life moves on. And where am I going with this? I have made very little effort to create extra time this past 4 months. Between the nursery hitting new highs of sales, employees, and profits, my training for a marathon, the daily life of having a 16 year old girl (turns 17 today), and this blog, I’ve settled into routine instead of exploring new areas. Haven’t had the desire to take on more. BUT the NY marathon is next week, the nursery closes one hour earlier next week and its go time again. I’m pretty stoked to add some things to the schedule.
