DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday, November 23rd

Escrow.com

The official announcement of what we already knew.  Right of the Dot and Namejet are heading up the NamesCon auction in January. The both are one of the best at what they do so I expect it to be a great auction.  I never did figure out what the commission rate was to put in a name so I didn’t submit anything.  Once I do I may try and throw a couple in if its not too late.  On that auction note, I was watching the sports card auction at Heritage auction last week and the prices were out of this world.  I haven’t collected baseball cards for a decade but I have always been in to the old cards.  Cards that weren’t saved to be collectable but certainly were collected.  Now its all about grade.  A high Grade Mickey Mantle rookie went for $1.1 million, a new record.  A bad Honus Wagner went for $700K ish .  In general, the cards went for new highs which says a lot.  That people are still willing to pay big money for things that have perceived value.  Even if its just a piece of cardboard.  It reminds us all that we merely need someone to think our assets have value to get a sale and if there are several then we can get a good sale.  Here are today’s names.  Click for current price.

Domain of the Day:   PhotographySchool.com    19 years old.  Everyone thinks they are a photographer but like anything, better skills equal better results.  At $10 at press time

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good

  1. I liked goldenrock.com, missed it as had to renew auction membership and was driving at the time. I would have bid on that. Seems it was previously sold in Jan 2014 for almost $4k and then later let expire.
