Domain Spotlight:

The screenshots below are examples of buyers of domains from the past few months that have either developed their sites, or purchased an upgrade domain and have redirected their acquisition to an existing website.

AidCoin.com sold for $15,000 at Nidoma.com, and the domain was an upgrade from the .co. “AidCoin is the ERC20 token that aims to become the preferred method to donate transparently through the Ethereum blockchain and to access the ecosystem of services provided by the AIDChain platform.” Per CoinMarketCap.com, AidCoin has a market cap near $9 million.

Elliot Silver recently discussed this type of situation….cryptocurrencies upgrading to a .com.

With this late 2013 domain registration, it’s another example of a domainer benefiting from the crypto craze, without investing in cryptocurrencies.

AidCoin

Remote.it sold for $10,000 at Nidoma.com, and the domain is an upgrade from the uber confusing Remot3.it. Yes, that’s a backwards “e”, more commonly known as a “3”, for the last character to the left of the dot. It appears they’re based in Palo Alto, despite the Italian country code. “Remote manage networked devices. Apply updates, remote access, and eliminate truck rolls when servicing networked devices. Also, works via cellular connections when devices don’t have public IP’s.

Ondago.com sold for $5,500 at Sedo, and a new travel site is in the works. “Ondago provides experiential, educational and learning itineraries in Canada and the US.”

NorthernBitcoin.com sold for $4,500 at RapidNames.com, and the German company behind the site aims to “provide sustained and profitable infrastructure to the bitcoin and its blockchain. We achieve this by running our highly developed facilities on renewable resources under ultimate cost-efficient and secure conditions.” The domain has a 2017 registration date.

BluechipCrypto.com sold for $3,000 at Sedo, and the site is promising riches, if you’ll just buy their $497 course. After that, I’m sure it’s simple…..they tout “The Lazy Way To Turn $10 into $100,000 From The Bitcoin Meltdown…”

The domain has a 2017 registration date.  I’d probably take a couple of Josh’s hand-reg’d crypto domains over this domain for $3k.
