Yesterday was the craziest day in a while. Hard 8 mile tempo in the morning and a grueling day unloading trucks at work. But that was the least of my problems. I received a few packages at work that I was excited to get. One was a great jar of Canna Honey and another one was a sampler pack of honey edibles but with no THC because it would be illegal in Illinois. Supposedly just a sampler pack of flavors of honey chews they offer. The Canna honey place also threw in a few samplers of non THC energy chews. After dinner, I ate one of each just to see how they taste. Because they don’t have THC I didn’t think twice about it. Except one of them did. I don’t know which one but boy did it hit me hard. I don’t do edibles, never have, but I was now on the wagon with 3 to 7 times the normal dosage. Or at least it seemed like it. I assumed I was like a person at a party that you give a non alcoholic beer and they act drunk. Except it kept coming and coming, to the point I had to abandon the list because I couldn’t see straight or hold my head up. I felt like I had been Roofied. When I woke up it felt like someone had glued my body to the mattress. I didn’t feel sick I just couldn’t move. I was pretty sure my body was way over its head and I was going to just have to wait it out. So I am waiting it out. I’m sure there are pleasant experiences but I literally lost most of a day of my life recovering. I learned that its best not to just eat things that people send to me or at least read the package. Especially if the boxes come from Washington or California. Here are today’s names. Make sure to click on the names to see the current price and to help DSAD keep on keeping on.
Quote of the Day: “On unanticipated problems: There’s been “a dramatic increase in edibles.” And “no one had ever worried about dosage sizes. The original edibles that came out, once you took the packaging off there was nothing to show it was any different than candy.” -John Hickenlooper

I knew that’s what happened after reading your blog yesterday. I told you to try a small piece and wait 30 minutes to see how you feel before eating more. Instead, you just ate it all. A quarter to a half dose would have made you feel fantastic. I’m sorry for not being more clear.
UltraChews.com thanks you for the review.
Ha. You were more than clear on your product. I appreciate the canna honey 🙂
Holy shit that is a funny story haha!
That’s my problem with edibles. If I want to partake in mj, I just want to do a little puff or two and float around for an hour. With edibles, you make one wrong move and your entire day is now _that_. Like, I don’t want to be blasted for 9 hours, I have stuff to do!
Bring some to the next Sherpa taping 🙂
