Recent Domain Sales That Have Been Developed: NextGuest.com, Pod.io & more…

The screenshots below are examples of buyers of domains from the past few months that have either developed their sites, or purchased an upgrade domain and have redirected their acquisition to an existing website.

NextGuest.com sold for $10,000 on Sedo.  When I first saw the sale, I wondered if it sold to David Letterman or Netflix as a web home for his Netflix series My Next Guest.  Alas, it did not.  Next Guest is a “fully-integrated guest engagement, acquisition and marketing platform.”  It looks like the companies goal is to acquire best of breed hotel technology companies and combine them to dominate the hospitality technology space.

CentralAccess.com sold for $2,200 on Sedo.  The domain now redirects to caecaccess.com which is the website for the Central Alabama Electric Cooperative’s sign up page for broadband access.  With a little digging, it looks like the Electric Co-op is building out a fiber network in Central Alabama which will provide 200 mbps up and down service for an initial cost of $59.99 per month.  Not bad…

Origin.us sold for $3,400 on Sedo.  Origin is “taking diagnosis and discovery beyond expert limits.”  If you want to know any more than that, you will need to subscribe to their newsletter via the site, because that is literally all the information the website provides.

GrowFlow.com sold for $5,000 on Sedo.  Grow Flow is a Seattle, Washington company that provides software solutions for the cannabis industry.  The software package list is pretty extensive covering grow management, inventory management, POS, sales process and storefront.  It is a good time to carve out a niche in an industry like this before the big software companies get involved.

Pod.io sold for $3,078 via Flippa.  I thought for sure the company that ended up with this would be part of the podcasting industry, but it isn’t.  Pod is an upcoming app that looks to be focused on professional networking.  It is difficult to tell from the website how useful the app might be.  Somehow they have 5 million plus members already, and the app isn’t even available yet.
