I wanted to thank our newest sponsor Catched.com. Catched is a backorder service that specializes in the new and country TLDs. The banner will be on the right of our page with the latest names displayed so make sure to visit their site if you’re interested. People think that smaller backorder companies won’t get the names because they don’t have 1000 registrars like some of the big boys. Just not true. They just have to concentrate on what they are going after. To put the pings on names that others look as an afterthought. But an afterthought that’s a solid name. Just not a four figure or five figure drop.
It’s companies like Catched that keep us writing here and providing the lists. Without Catched.com, Escrow.com, Sedo.com, and Namejet/Web.com no more stupid Shane and Ike stories. No more names that you might not have noticed. So at least check them out for us. Certainly doesn’t hurt to put in few backorders and see what happens.
An another note. The prices for historic names with a good backlink profile are fetching incredible prices. The jump and kickstart these give to a new site evidently is worth a lot of money. Names like WisconsinGazette fetching 30K would seem like crazy money but when I asked Sean Markey the expert in this field if you can even earn your money back and his response was a simple “Oh Yeah”. I even bought a name and am experimenting with building a site back on the old site. Simple and basic but enough to let Google know its still alive and kicking. It’s a very expensive experiment but the name was the premier site in the category I’m going to build out so it was either do it or not so I did it. I’ll give more details as I get going. It’s not pretty now but I peck away at it each night along with the dozen other things I peck away at.
Click on the links to see current price and to pay for the gas that runs this site. And don’t forget to pay for your past domain purchases.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
Shane would be very interesting on how you’re progressing on your site.
Thank you for the coffee Michael. I’m not progressing very well. So many things to do, so little time to do it
