Last week I had quite a few changes take place in my life in a very short period of time. I quit my job and my girlfriend and I broke up all within a matter of hours. Pretty much any routine I had went out the window in one day.
I decided to take the rest of the week and get out of town. I called Shane and he was nice enough to say don’t worry about the blog, take off. The picture to the left was my location. I sat there quite a bit just unwinding and clearing my head. As you can see it was really shitty weather. I ate a lot of fresh shrimp cocktail, fish tacos, and drank quite a few cervezas. The good part about the ongoing violence in Mexico is there aren’t many tourists. At the same time, the bad part about the ongoing violence in Mexico is there aren’t many tourists. I had a hotel room on the beach and I was the only one staying in the hotel…and I mean literally the only person. There were a group of old folks down the beach that looked to be staying in RV’s but for the most part I minded my own business.
It’s good to be back in the States and I look forward to getting back in the swing of things. I should have some good content to put out soon, especially about the job I quit. I would do it now but I found out today that somehow the termination still isn’t finalized which blew my mind. I also had some success with some domains at auction while I was gone. Nothin’ like sitting on a beach knowing you’re making money. I’ll get into those as soon as the final #’s are in.
Oh, and if anyone is hiring, let me know. 🙂
Did you ever make it to that Donkey show you kept talking about?
PS: Welcome back to the States

Word of advice: don’t diss your former employer online, even if they were sh*th3ads because it could come back and bite you on the posterior.
😉
Sorry to hear about your big (negative?) changes in such a short time. But, this, too, shall pass.
Good luck on the job hunt!

I really didn’t plan on “bashing” my former employer. It is a good company and has treated me well over the last several years. I did plan on explaining what led me to leave…which I suppose could be viewed as company bashing…so perhaps I’ll need to be very careful as to how I word it 🙂

No mate, there is no good news about the violence in Mexico and the bad news is that people are dying.
The good news about 9/11…….
Interested to hear about your auction results Chris and sometimes you just gotta get away from it ALL. I’m about at that point myself.
And if you made the show, was there punching involved? ; ) I have no class sometimes in the name of sh*tty humor. And you seriously attended a donkey show, I think you should share some on that…..
