The Daily recap of Shane’s Auction Picks, the 21st of December
Yesterday’s Average 4L Chip Sales as listed on Namebio.com and LLLLsales.com was $2,381.48
The Miss Universe story was on the news all day long today. I wasn’t aware that the pageant had taken place until the wrong girl was picked. Who even watches Pageants?
The whole thing’s a little ridiculous. As I understand it they’re judged on beauty, accomplishments, talent and the ability to give great answers to difficult or controversial questions. (I’m sure there’s other requirements) So all these women spend their lives doing things to put them in a position to win a sash. They prepare answers, learn and fine tune talents so that they can win a show. They spend years preparing, graduating from one pageant to the other, until maybe they make it to the top.
I’m sure they work hard at it and maybe it helps develop their character, It just seems a little crazy to me. I think a better idea for a “pageant” would be to nominate someone who does all that stuff because they are genuinely doing good things. That way they could judge them on real accomplishments, knowledge, skill, and abilities. Not ones developed only to win the pageant. I could be wrong, maybe they have real lives but I don’t know how they’d have the time and go to pageants.
It any case, congratulations Miss Columbia for winning, I mean congratulations Miss Philippines for winning and I take back the congratulations to Miss Columbia. Hey, at least you got to wear it for 10 seconds, that’s more than the other women standing on the stage.
VideoShock.com 19 years old. What was shocking on video 19 years ago is on Sesame Street now. Takes a lot to shock in 2015. One bidder at $12
490 USD It’ll still work I think, maybe it’s a new sensory video. You get Shocked, with a taser or electric. They could use it in schools, stop paying attention and Zap!
Shanny.com 17 years old. Nice broad brand. Others agree because its getting some good bids.
895 USD I wasn’t sure if this was a noun, adjective or made up, so let’s look at urbandictionary.com. Most popular answer: “ A creature who is awesome, wonderful and brings peace on earth. Damn, that Shanny is sure awesome!” Seems like a ridiculous answer. When would this creature ever come up in conversation? “was that a Shanny I just saw?, “No there’s not worldwide peace” “ok, Carry on then, false alarm”
Second most popular answer: Shanny are fish who generally spend most of the year in the deep sea. They generally breed in Spring and in shallow waters. Horny fish.
VacationReview.com 16 years old. Only two bidders at $15. Already gets 56 visitors a month. Pretty sure you can earn your money back if you pay under $100
Didn’t find the results so maybe it was under $100. Seem like that traffic would be worth more than that, unless it’s just spam.
DCGO.com I think these western acronym names are undervalued. We’ll find out in a year or so
999 USD It’s also DC Go that seems like a pretty great name. Dc travel or Dc sports teams
DCGS.com Actually I think all LLLL.coms are still undervalued but everyone thinks I have too much invested to not be biased. Although I am not changing my opinion to reflect my domains but buying my domains to invest in my opinion.
3,111 USD Dc Garden Supplies? Sounds like a franchise opportunity Shane.
DLot.com I think this is where I park my car at the airport
1,051 USD results in google for D Lot About 1,610,000,000 results (0.58 seconds) Lots of D lot’s
ARH.net Solid LLL.net 13 million google results. Pretty sure you can find a buyer out of 13 million results
2,030 USD A Pirate name.
DALD.com I certainly am. Oh, I thought it was Bald
795 USD Dream a Little Dream?
11364.com I think these 5 number domains are going to catch on soon
1,060 USD It’s possible but only if the big Indonesian Money starts making a play
OldSpruce.com Upgrade name for a few companies and places. No bidders. I am biased since I sell old spruces
156 USD Sounds like an add on brand for old spice
43Things.com Obviously the $3000+ price and all the bids are for the backlinks, traffic and PR5
Didn’t see the price, I hope those backlink profiles were checked for spam Moz DA of 72
MakeupPlace.com As a man that just spent a few hundred dollars at Ulta, I know how much women spend on makeup. And no it wasn’t for me.
224 USD, I don’t really like it for $200 maybe for $10. I feel like you could substitute “place” for a thousand other words.
MXMP.com Over under $2480. I only say $2480 because last time I guessed $2500 and was off a little
2277 USD Look at that price though, 22 77 I’d buy it if it were a 4N.
Kim.cc Girls name, Asian name, worldwide appeal. I think it hits four figures. At $400 at press time
Anyone know what it ended at?
ZHB.biz I am recommending to my clients (although I have none) to buy Western premium consonant LLL.biz (that’s a mouthful) But all consonants have value because of China
216 USD the Z is kind of a wild card anymore like X, especially at the beginning or the end. I’ve sold some brandable domains starting with the Z.
198983.com How can you make a website using this one? So it must be worthless.
230 USD 1 Start/ Unity/Whole, 9 Everlasting, 8 Fortune, 9 Everlasting, 8 Wealth, 3 Many. It Could be a site about the start of everlasting fortune and wealth for many. So it’s a domain Auction Platform?
If you’re doing the LLLL.net thing here is a group I like

GL55.com I haven’t bought any yet and although I am a bit late to the party, I am looking to add a few of the better combos. I like this one
320 USD Good Luck 55.
088850.com I’ll take the triple 8s for under $50
888 USD Look at that price, I wonder if the auction actually ended at $844 and the buyer was like “hell no, let me make that an even 88” This price was actually from 3 weeks ago.
AAARRR.com NO, screw the patterns in 6L.com I don’t care if they are worth $5K, I’ve drawn the line
This is another pirate domain.
FOKE.com A CVCV.com and means “launch” in Indonesian. But I don’t think the Indonesian market is really moving prices right now
6100 USD It might not be right now, but it doesn’t hurt to be ready for the Indonesian domain invasion.
Veggie.garden No reserve, no bids. I thought this was a pretty good use of the .garden extension
currently listed as Make offer.

Great auction recap Josh E. LOL on the comment about the great FOKE.com result …’it doesn’t hurt to be ready for the Indonesian domain invasion’.
Ever asked a child whose front teeth haven’t come through, to whistle?…Reading your heading reminded me of that: …the 21th of December 🙂
Thanks Fizz,
Fixed it.
Now the Toothless readers won’t be able to pronounce it right
Lol woops, I mean it was a Christmas song reference…. Stupid Copy and Paste
