The Daily recap of Shane’s Auction Picks, the 25th of January
Good domainsherpa show today. They touched briefly on India as an emerging domain market. You can see the signs easily enough, lots of Indian domain investors, web developers and companies. There are registrars highlighting .in, uniregistry was sending out emails promoting .in when it became available on their platform. Another Billion people to buy our domains, nothing wrong with that.
Yesterday’s Average 4L Chip Sales as listed on LLLLsales.com $2,556.00
09981.com Start the day off with a nice 5N.com 8s and double numbers. Under $400 at press time
?
87354.com Another 5N.com It will be interesting to see if this one or the name above finish higher. I think the double 9 keeps that one higher
? If we only knew
ELWS.com 19 years old and great English Letters
520 USD I’m trying to pronounce it, but I can’t
GreatSeat.com The plural would be worth four or five figures. This one has one bid at $12
586 USD This is a great name. I think it would be an awesome brand for lots of things. Obviously furniture, I envision a gaming stair style recliner. Or just a brand for anything that you would sit down to do, maybe a home video streaming platform. GreatSeat.com. “You’ll Always have a Great Seat.”
BHGT.com The kind of LLLL.com that is killing it right now. CHiPestern name
2,114 USD Big Hairy Goose Turds
XIYA.com Officially a five figure domain name. I may be a bidder. Just don’t know what exactly I’m bidding on. But I’m not going to let that stop me
13,600 USD CVCV, so is it a Zish sound with the X? Ziya or ExIYA, or IchsIYA
06360.com Nice pattern. I like memorable numerics, regardless of what the numbers are. This one fits the bill
1,210 USD It is symmetrical
11719.com Not as good of a pattern but great numbers so will do much much better. The Red Reserve Ribbon has held the price back until the last day. People shy away from that like Christian Bale when he’s drunk
? It’s true, I see that and think why didn’t they just make this one a BIN listing.
55130.com This should easily cross 5K. The zeros at the end are not bad. The price tells you that
4,500 USD nice number
LessThanHalf.com Certainly memorable. And I know that someone else has the majority share
Could be a discount, groupon type of site.
GameFlip.com Has no bidders at $12. Sounds like a pretty good used game site name
520 USD, The number of bidders quickly increased.
MWG.biz LLL and NNN dot biz have been a good investment lately
366 USD
NBC40.net 600 plus backlinks and a PR5 have this over $600
4,200 USD Good to know the price of a non spammy PR5
ZPC.co Hard to argue about the price improvement of LLL.cos
491 USD That is nice, seems like the only thing going up Pre Lunar new year 2016
A nice list of LLLL.nets today as well
NJDP.net, 222 USD
SRKP.net, 221 USD
DJWZ.net, 212 USD
YTNP.net 190 USD
I think these will all be three figure names soon if they are not already. Opinion only. You could lose your money and be forced to work for NameBio and get the job staying up all night trying to make sure their post is posted one minute before mine.
KT92, KL97 ,KL25, KL26, KL31, and KL37
No results. Thanks, they’re now removing your picks from the results list.
YPRP.com Not getting much love but a solid LLLL.com
1847 USD Looks like a good deal to me.
440988.com The 88 is enough to get most people’s attention
101 USD I would have bought all of these if I wasn’t shoveling snow.
880144.com Almost the same named flipped. Lesson on how 88 at the end is worth more than the beginning. We get to see how much
? Under $100 I’m assuming since I couldn’t find it. I’d take it.
880104.com And another to compare if the extra zero makes a difference in price. We’re learning here fellas
?
UIC.cc Even vowel LLL.cc are three figures now
220 USD They were trading higher last month. I sold 5 of them for $280 each
And a few more zero and 8 6N.coms to add to your portfolio
880047.com,
?
444078, 116 USD Look, just needed one extra 4 to make the board.
420500.com 420 baby. Smoke ’em if you got em.
?
318068.com Any 6N.com that ends in 8 is worth $25 or more.. In my opinion
Any 6n was worth $25 for a few weeks anyway.
234033.com Not bad for $20
Don’t overlook sequence, it’s easy to hate the 4 and forget that sequence is a good pattern.
DJMM.com I Lovee Dj MM. I think he was playing at Hakkkkassssan when I was there.
6 days left
CCFB.com Over $2K and will sell. Everyone loves the repeating C. Maybe not the China doomsday
2700 USD
Drink.cc One bid and reserve met. Keywords have generally never sold well in dot cc
500 EUR Pretty good Keyword, maybe they sell Chocolate Coffee
44s.com Getting a great bid. 3 of them actually
At 2855 EUR Auctions almost over
8H.io Only 260 of these. Only 26 with the 8. You can see why I got high Bs in Math
199 USD by BIN
MoneyMakers.com Pretty sure that’s a local strip joint. It might be the car wash. I get them confused. I save my quarters for both of those places
Unsold, Quarter strippers are more of the “B” team types, but hey everyone needs a job.
NRKF.com Pronounced “Neckerchief”…..Chip
No Winner
JRKN.com Pronounced “Jerkin’ ” Seller should be happy…..but their not
Unsold at $3k…
CPR.info One of the better dot info lately. Perfect for a dot info. Lifesaving techniques ahead
Unsold,
I could make a great site on this. Everyone go look up hand free, high performance CPR right now and save a life.
Here’s my CPR tip of the day. You are going to Break Ribs, If you don’t, odds are you’re not doing it right. Don’t be gentle. If you’re loved one is in cardiac arrest do what it takes to give them the best chance. Bones can be put back together, Brain Death cannot.
Remember you are attempting to circulate blood from the heart up to the lungs and back and out to the body, particularly to the brain. Every time you stop compressions you need to build the pressure back up, If you’re not doing it hard enough because you don’t like the feeling of crunching ribs let someone else do it. The only chance that person has is continuous uninterrupted chest compression’s. This might be enough to restart the heart depending on why it stopped in the first place.
If they’re in Ventricular Fibrillation or Pulse-less Ventricular Tachycardia you will need the defibrillator or AED that Shane talked about on the Sherpa show today. Good CPR is imperative to keep the the patient alive until an AED gets there and to give the AED the best chance of working if the patient is in one of those 2 cardiac rhythms.
Rotate Rescuers without stopping, every minute is better than every 2 minutes
That’s your assignment for the day, I’ll make it easy click here. You don’t need a Card to do CPR, you don’t need a badge or certification to save a life. You really only need 2 hands, If you don’t have 2 hands I would try jumping up and down on them.

Hey Josh
Love the work you’re doing on DSAD. Thanks for that.
What do you reckon about the ‘V’ in an llll.com being better suited to the Indian market?
Thank you John, I appreciate your kind words.
I really don’t know too much about the Indian market. It’s something we’ll all need to research if we want to stay ahead of the game. I get the impression that a lot of people think that the Chinese “hate” the V. I don’t think they hate it, the Chinese own VV.com, VVV.com and VVVV.com. I’ve had high offers on LLLL’s with double v’s.
So the way I look at it the V is just a symbol that doesn’t really mean anything. Isolated in a LLLL it doesn’t add value but it’s not “bad” per say, But make a pattern out of it and it’s value goes up like anything else not because of meaning but as a memorable pattern. As far as the Indians, I have no Idea what letters, numbers or words might be better then others. Well except Aaron’s HolyCow.com, I’m sure they’d like that and anything with Patel in it.
