THE BIG AFTERMARKET LIST: Friday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on June 20th, 2014

Escrow.com

Yesterday Jamie of Dotweekly talked about deep links of affiliates and although they are revenue driving, they still help and lead the readers right to the auction itself which saves time.  He also discussed how CJ links used to work but stopped.  I deal with this all the time with Commission Junction.  When they work, they work.  When they don’t it’s days and weeks of trying to get answers.  Most of the time they have no idea that they don’t work.  There are only a few of us that use direct links and they have tens of thousands of customers and hundreds of thousands of links.  But they make millions on these links so they should have the staffing to fix the problems.  We are talking hundreds of dollars per day for many of their users so fixing the links is important.  Jamie has been kind enough to help me fix the links either through feeding me info on how to fix or combining our efforts to get some help.  Greg of Godaddy has also been helpful as he in in charge on the Godaddy side and he works with CJ to let them know how and what to fix.  I’m sure they’ll get this fixed as well.  It’s just going to take a while.    Here are today’s names.

Landscaping.net  One of the premier Home and Garden names.  Mine. Selling because I have 100 other Garden names in line to build out

Nemesis.net  19 years old.  Not going to sell nemesises but still a good brand.  Even as a dot net

IrishGolfGuide.com  It’s every golfer’s dream to go play golf in Ireland.  Ireland Golf Guide would be better but this has NO bidders and is 12 years old

3dPrinterStore.net      Looking at past comps shows that people pay big bucks for 3dprinter names.  After numerics, 3d printing and bitcoin are the hottest domain category in the biz. And the market really hasn’t even become commonplace yet

433.net  Going to try again since Godaddy had another deadbeat bidder.  I think it’s a solid NNN.net if you’re into these.  And you should be

SellYourCompany.com  Not sure someone is going to sell their company on a website but times are a changin’.  Only one bidder

7143.com  Opening bid at $6777 which isn’t very far off of the going rate

Coughy.com  Great play on words here.  Fails radio test, passes memorable test.  No bidders

 Wii.org  Trademark issue but it’s still a LLL.org

AssistedLivingFacility.net  HUGE keywords, even as a dot net.  Plain and simple a huge percentage of people getting old.

KickApp.com   Fun play on kick ass.  Good deal at this price IMO

RoofSwap.com  Good marketing name for a roofing company

Movie.info   One of the better dot infos you could ever buy

Darts.info   Comes with 9 other sports related domains.  At the current price I think if you just got darts.info you didn’t do too bad. Easy build out

OUZ.com  Looks French but really just an LLL.com   At a fair price

Flip.xyz   Francois latest venture although while writing the site was down.  Which is OK because nothing will sell if everything is listed at $10,000 🙂

NEW!!!! Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day.. 99 cent New Registration GOFD722A

Apples.com  HUGE name but one that you’ll have to have legal counsel on from the beginning IMO.  No doubt Apple is still a fruit but if you ask anyone what comes to mind when you say Apple and I think they respond Apple computer.  Still a fantastic name

VintagePaper.com  I had no idea people collected vintage paper.  249 million results.  MUCH bigger than I expected

JIJ.com   Three letter dot com.  Should do well

LadyDoctors.com  I know a lot of women that will only go to lady doctors.  Help them find the ladies

16100.com   Pending Delete so if you want it better put in a few backorders

8252.net  This one as well

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details. *All names chosen by me, Shane, and the goal of this list is to have all links be paid through commission . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct.
