For some reason I went over to Heritage Auctions to see what they were up to since I hadn’t heard much lately from Elliot about their domain auctions. At the home page it said this
“An exclusive joint partnership has been announced between Heritage Auctions and RightOfTheDot, LLC to provide live auctioneer and live online auction services for premium domains in new TLD extensions that are being launched over the next several years. Examples of premium domain names that may potentially be for sale via this new offering could include names like Night.Club, Tour.London, Hotels.NYC, Divorce.Law, Poker.Vegas, Concert.Tickets, and on, across the spectrum of recently created new domain space”
Now I think Aron has done a good job building the category for HA but I don’t see this being a success. First of all, not one name listed above will be up for auction. Nothing that strong will ever make it to auction in my opinion. Second, not sure Heritage’s clientele have any clue what the new gTLDs are or their value. I guess that could work in their favor as maybe they’ll over bid them. I hope I’m wrong, I wish them success, but my gut feeling says that it will be a tough sell. Here are today’s names. Last Day to Get names on the BOOK of 10 this week. Special 2 for $20 Each. Get you name in front of 18,000 potential buyers. ONLY 2 SPOTS LEFT. Here are today’s names.

Elanah.com Not a lot of girls named this but for $12 may be worth holding in case the name catches on
RealGain.com No bidders. $12 for a good short marketing name
SignsOfHope.com No bidders. 8 years old. Like it because it’s short, memorable, and positive
uDocs.com Sounds like it already is a document management product. Make it one. Cheap
DoctorCentral.com 18 years old. Under $50 at press time. Medical names only go up from here IMO

DMLL.com Good letters. Not a lot of bidders
