People ask me what stocks to buy and I tell them to pay attention to your daily life. Think of the places you love to go, why you like them, and then dig a little deeper in how to invest in them. I saw Ford cars around me and loved their look. I bought a Ford Explorer Sport and absolutely loved it. I liked what the company was doing and invested in it. It has paid off well. A month ago I was standing in line at Chipotle and thought to myself. “I stand in this damn line three times a week. And I stand in line at lunch and at dinner at every one I go to. I should at least own some of this” Yesterday earnings came in exactly as I thought. They came back with the best numbers in the industry and projected even better in the future. Stock up 10%. My options should be up 200-300% which I will put into the stock. It doesn’t take brilliance, it takes paying attention. But it’s easier said than done evidently .
