Flips
BossFree.com sold for 2,700 USD recently at Sedo, vs 193 USD on 2015-07-29 at GoDaddy. Awesome percentage return for the seller, at over 10x in three months. The Australia based buyer also owns BossFree.club, and considering his other domains such as HomeBusinessDream.com and HomeBusinessWinner.com, I’m guessing an entrepreneurial site is in the works.
ZMI.com sold for 30,200 USD recently at NameJet, vs 2,300 USD on 2006-01-31 at SnapNames. If you have the opportunity to go back in time, be sure to pick up a few LLL.com domains.
GEY.com sold for 29,377 USD recently at NameJet, vs 10,100 USD on 2008-12-23 at Sedo.
SharedHost.com sold for 1,500 USD recently at Flippa, vs 363 USD on 2014-02-17 at NameJet. Nearly $10 CPC for this hosting related domain.
MXKC.com sold for 1,450 USD recently at Flippa, vs 446 USD on 2015-08-25 at GoDaddy. 3x in under 3 months.
WGJR.com sold for 1,450 USD recently at GoDaddy, vs 100 USD on 2014-10-24 at GoDaddy. Each week, I could list many, many more extremely profitable flips on the LLLL.com domains.
Flops
AU.tv sold for 7,975 USD recently at Sedo, vs 8,100 USD on 2011-02-20 at Sedo. A couple nice LL.tv profitable flips were on last week’s list, but this week the opposite.
Japan.tv sold for 5,461 USD recently at Sedo, vs 10,099 USD on 2011-02-21 at Sedo.
Acquisition.net sold for 610 USD recently at NameJet, vs 4,000 USD on 2008-07-29 at SnapNames. In hindsight, this of course was a bad acquisition.
DAYY.com sold for 3,500 USD recently at Sedo, vs 3,000 USD on 2015-05-30 at Flippa. Looks really profitable until considering the commissions…..assuming 15%, the seller netted under $3,000.
Note: I didn’t do an exhaustive search of the ownership history of each domain. There are likely cases where there were multiple owners between the sales prices I list.
