Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Sun June 11th

Jun 11 2017

I had the pleasure of flying out to my Grandmother’s 90th birthday party in California this weekend.  Marking my third grandparent to have their 90th birthday party in the last few years.  I may not have much special in my family genes but longevity is certainly something that’s on both sides of my family.  There was a big crowd and another group that is amazed that I make a living with domain names and the Internet.   And they usually think I’m exaggerating about working 2 to 3 hours a night working on it.   After working my “normal” job.  They think its pretty exciting and want to do it until they hear the time needed.   And herein lies the problem with most things. To get good at it takes 1000s of hours and nobody wants to put in that many hours.   So I just talk about the fun stuff.  The party at the Playboy mansion, the lunch with Kim Kardashian, the big checks.   No sense boring them with stories of endless nights of running lists, making offers, trying to sell names.  Nothing ruins a good success stories like all the work behind the success.    Here are today’s names. Quote of the Day:  “A journey is like marriage. The certain way to be wrong is to think you control it.” ~ John Steinbeck”

Domain of the Day:   Big fan of these easy to say and spell brands.  15 years old

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids    The cost of 1/1000 of your monthly mortgage there   Another one of those startup type names where they try and get all creative.  And Brandbucket sells them   Good name for our industry   Big enough keywords that the dot net has some value   Not sure if all the bids see Cooper K, COO Perk, or Coop ERK    Brand for one hitters

Domains That I Like With One or No Bid Very nice name in today’s climate (pun intended) Can use this to find the oh so elusive sex on the internet. 16,000 backlinks Really a typo of the word enchant but tech companies like to play with words. Under $25 worth a look IMO Citrus Fresh. Sounds light and refreshing. No bids Probably a bit niche but sounds like a fantasy football manager kit I’ll lend you some money at the low low rate of 29% per year. Man, there have been a lot of Shane names expiring over the last few weeks. Some Shane guy stopped believing in himself Leasing didn’t work but if it did, this would have been good. But….so nope Because you don’t own enough rapper names No value but just happens to be the first single from a hot new rapper named Rich Thug Marketing name for a course offering this. More and more course are adding night golf to lengthen the time when people can play Originally registered in 2001. Upgrade for a few entities No bids. Its a thing. Money in fashion and talking about it Wasn’t me First thing that comes to mind is archery X at the front or back of good keywords are a good way to make a brand and still retain the keyword for cheap Back to pretty much anything with bit in it gets a bid or look Worth a look at $20

Other Godaddy Domains With Bids  22 year old   I for international

Namejet Auctions   Hit four figures because its such a specialized hard to fill job   Fantastic acronym letters.  But $30K won’t get it done   Fruit not computers   I can be.  Stepping over the confidence line happens some time   So many angles here.  Dating site for High IQ?   Probably not going to meet reserve but nice name   One for the kids   I’ll take a vowel at the beginning and a C at the end for a discount.
