I’m headed out this morning to run the Boston Marathon this Monday. I want to thank Godaddy , Namejet, Sedo, Escrow.com and Verisign for sponsoring the run. They are all paying for it through sponsorship of this blog. Most of the money goes right back into domains but I also use it to experience things in life that ordinarily I would be hesitant to take out of the family funds. Godaddy and Verisign was nice enough to send me swag and shirts. Verisign sent me this fantastic shirt love that has .COM in big letters on the front. Dot com is where I make my money. Where most of us make our money. Shirt may be a little big to wear in the marathon though. Large in the US is a little big for me. Even though I’m 6 foot and 180 lbs. Larges used to be tight but I think shirt sizes have changed like a McDonalds drink large has changed.
If you track me, I’ll be a little slower than normal because of winter training. Winter in Illinois is tough and I have trouble keeping weight down because I’m not as active at the nursery. I’m mostly running to hang with friends and because I can. I knew if I didn’t run I would look back and wonder why I qualified for the Boston marathon and didn’t run it. i.e. do things while you can because you may not get that chance again .
